Rio the Real Macaw

RIO

This is Rio. She is my best friend. I love her so. She is currently 12 years old. Has been featured in magazines and is a great outreach bird. She has never bitten anyone except me, and they are just love bites. She only has one wing, but that
does not keep her from climbing and doing her tricks.

RIO AND THE GANG HORSING AROUND

This is Rio, Yodie and Slate. Quite a feat to get them all together on same horse. Good thing they like each other. Great birds, all of them.

Rio The Diva

Rio Just Loves to Horse around by Herself!!!

My Little Star Yodie

Yodie, My Shining Star!

This is Yodie, my shining star. He and I went to Hollywood to be on Pet Star!!! Although it didn't turn out like I had Hoped, he is still a STAR in my eyes, and everyone who meets him. He talks to all the the babies as if they were his. He is so protective of them. He trains them to talk and step up!!!! His voice is that of a cartoon character, it is so funny. He speaks in sentances. He is truly an amazing Indian Ringneck.

Rex My Millitary Macaw

Above is Rex The Millitary Macaw, He is quite a character. He does not live in a cage like my other birds, He lives in a tree. Yes I did say a tree. He has an area all to himself....

Below is Babbett Moustache Parakeet
babbett3.jpg

This is Babbett My moustache parakeet. Her species is a cousin of the Indian Ringneck. These birds are from asia and more specifically referred to as the group of asiatic parakeets. Her words are very plain to hear and she is quite verbal.
